This Privacy Policy explains how CalTogether ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use caltogether.com and related services (the "Service").

Information we collect

• Account information — name, email address, and authentication details when you sign up (via our auth provider).
• Organization and calendar content — calendars, events, images, member roles, themes, and settings you create or upload.
• Communication preferences — email and, if you opt in, mobile number and SMS consent for event reminders.
• Billing information — plan and payment details processed by our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers).
• Usage and device data — logs, approximate location from IP, browser type, and similar technical data needed to operate and secure the Service.

How we use information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Authenticate users and manage organizations and roles
• Send transactional messages (invites, support replies, and optional email or SMS reminders you request)
• Process subscriptions and prevent abuse or fraud
• Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service

SMS and email reminders

If you opt into text reminders, we store your mobile number and consent so we can send the reminders you configure. Message frequency varies by the events you follow. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to cancel and HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. We will not share your mobile information with third parties for marketing purposes. Workspace SMS is sent through the messaging provider that organization connects (for example DialMyCalls or Telnyx).

Sharing

We share information with service providers who help us run CalTogether(hosting, authentication, email, SMS, payments, and analytics), only as needed to provide the Service. Public calendar pages and event pages you publish are visible to anyone with the link. We do not sell your personal information.

Retention

We keep account and content data while your account is active and as needed for backups, legal obligations, and dispute resolution. You may request deletion of your account subject to organization ownership and legal requirements.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards appropriate to the Service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

• Update profile and organization settings in the dashboard
• Turn off email or SMS reminders where you subscribed

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
