Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CalTogether at caltogether.com and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

CalTogether lets organizations create and publish shared calendars, events, embeds, subscription feeds, and related collaboration features. Features may vary by plan.

Accounts

• You must provide accurate account information and keep it current.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for safeguarding access credentials.
• Organization owners and admins are responsible for members, content, and billing for their workspace.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Violate law or others' rights
• Upload malware or attempt unauthorized access
• Abuse messaging features (spam, unsolicited SMS/email, or sending without required consent)
• Scrape or overload the Service in a way that harms availability
• Misrepresent affiliation with CalTogether

Your content

You retain ownership of calendars, events, media, and other content you submit ("Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, and process Content as needed to operate the Service (including public pages and embeds you enable). You represent that you have the rights to submit Content and that it does not infringe others' rights.

Plans and billing

Paid plans are billed through our payment provider according to the pricing shown at signup or in your account. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law. We may change prices with notice for renewals. Free plans may have feature or usage limits.

Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties (for example authentication, hosting, email, SMS, and payments). Your use of those providers may be subject to their terms. Workspace SMS uses credentials and numbers that the organization supplies.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that reminders will always arrive on time.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CalTogether AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID).

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, risk to the Service, or non-payment. Provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive termination.

Changes

We may update these Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date when we do. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
